It is uploaded in order to facilitate accessibility to the material] Digital television, also known as DTV, is here. And, after February 17th, TV stations will turn off their analog signal. The FCC wants to be sure you are ready to keep watching TV. DTV offers improved picture and sound quality, and, for many people, additional free programming. And if not, about the options you have for getting DTV. Even if youre ready for DTV, youll still want to watch this video. Maybe you can help a friend or neighbor whos not ready, or who doesnt know if theyre ready. And if you need to know more, you can call us toll-free at 1-888-CALL-FCC. Or you can go online at www.DTV.gov.
