KTVO Analog Sign-Off Montage - June 12, 2009

KTVO-TV of Kirksville, Missouri made its analog sign-off on June 12, 2009, the new mandatory deadline for all TV stations in the US to switch to an all-digital format. Unlike WGEM-TV (see my other video), the sign-off was fairly uneventful, with no special programming, so I decided to assemble a short montage of their DTV coverage in addition to the signoff itself. In this video you'll see a number of the different DTV stories and commercials, along with the news startings for 6 o'clock, the morning news on June 12, as well as the scrolling DTV message that I captured during Wheel of Fortune. At the end of the video is, of course, the sign-off, which took place at 3:00 PM CDT on June 12th.
